The customs system is a set of methods and techniques in the field of
foreign economic activity carried out within the framework of customs
policy. Customs tariff regulation is an integral part of the customs tariff
system and is a method of state regulation of foreign trade in goods,
implemented through the application of import and export customs duties
and aimed, in particular, to protect the domestic market of Uzbekistan and
stimulate progressive structural changes in the economy.
