  • The study was conducted using a review of traditional and critical literature based on scientific sources published in 2018-2025. The results showed that the economic factor needs to be interpreted more broadly, integrating with education, health care, and environmental sustainability. Youth employment, multidimensional social policy, development of health care infrastructure, and investments in education and innovation are crucial in increasing the competitiveness of regions. Also, the inextricable link between transport, scientific research and development, high technologies, and innovative activities ensures long-term economic growth.
