This article assesses the dynamics of changes in regional wholesale trade volume during the process of developing the trading system. The study analyzes the dynamics of wholesale trade volume in the Republic of Uzbekistan and Kashkadarya region from 2010 to 2024 using statistical and trend analysis methods. The obtained results show that the volume of wholesale trade in the republic is growing rapidly; however, Kashkadarya region's share in the republic's wholesale trade volume demonstrates a consistent downward trend. The research findings provide an opportunity to improve mechanisms for regional development of the trade system and optimize the regional trade structure.
